The Nursery Vision & Values
Our vision is to nurture high aspirations in every child by fostering their emotional resilience, interaction, and sense of belonging, while instilling a lifelong love of learning.
We believe by creating a supportive environment, we can empower children to reach their fullest potential and thrive in all aspects of life. Together, we can cultivate a brighter future for our children, one filled with hope, curiosity, and endless possibilities.

Enriching Learning Environments
Our nurturing environments have been designed to support children’s emotional, social, communication and physical development.
Our youngest learners enjoy spaces to eat, play, rest, and grow. The children have three beautiful rooms to explore.
When children are aged between two and three, they transition into our Toddler Room. Here, we build on the core skills children have already gained, focusing on all seven areas of learning within the EYFS to foster their holistic development. Children have two large rooms to use to play, eat, rest and understand the world around them.

We start our day by welcoming children into our setting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from 07:30 (additional charges for the early starts). Our typical morning session, running from 08:00 am to 1:00, includes a delightful family breakfast where everyone can choose, prepare, and enjoy their meal together. We then have connection and communication time, celebrating the seasons through songs and stories, finally, our Discovery Time allows children to explore their senses through engaging play experiences, both indoors and outdoors, with support from our dedicated educators. Followed by Mindfulness Mealtime (lunch, led by Chef Wendy) and opportunity for sleeps, rest and quiet play.

In the afternoons, starting at 1:00 pm, we gather for Cosy Time, where children who wake up refreshed come for a small snack and seasonal drink. Our activities are guided by the children's interests and planned activities to support their unique development. After discovery Time, outdoor play and time together, we are ready for our delightful High Tea. As part of our curriculum, children will participate in setting up our hallway display, choosing activities they would like to enjoy the next day. We also ensure that care and toileting routines are supported throughout the day, with adaptations for our younger children. Parents will provide nappies and wipes.
We will communicate key information through an online APP called Tapestry, find out more by clicking the pencil !

Rhythm & Routine
Our approach to each nursery day is that we create a structure with a focus on play, emotional well-being, exploring the senses, communication and mindful care routines. A carefully thought out routine helps to develop children's organisational skills , preparing them for being 'life ready'. Whilst we promote a good routine with children and families, we will follow and adjust our daily time to match the rhythm of the children and their learning, to ensure we promote connectivity to their play and development.
Our Commitment to Families
We strive to provide a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for children aged 3 months to 3 years. Our mission is to foster creativity, curiosity, and independence while ensuring their emotional and physical well-being is promoted.
The Nursery is built on a hygge approach, encouraging a cosy and homely environment that makes children feel safe and loved. We prepare nutritious meals on-site to help each child grow healthily and happily. We operate from a single story building and only offer places for 26 children per day.
